Job summary

Plexus Corp. in Wisconsin is seeking an Analog Engineer Intern to design and develop electrical hardware across multiple industries. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineering disciplines to move concepts from idea to manufacturable product.

Qualifications

• Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology for the entire duration of internship.
• GPA and coursework considerations may apply as part of qualification.

Responsibilities

• Implement and verify the hardware design using appropriate EDA tools.
• Deliver prototype hardware by implementing PCB layouts and schematics.
• Analyze circuit designs with SPICE and finite element tools.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and bring up of prototype hardware in lab.
• Take measurements with oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers to assess circuit performance.
• Collaborate with analog, digital, software, and mechanical engineers to improve hardware designs.
• Develop project documentation per quality and change-management procedures.
• Participate in performance reviews and receive mentorship from hardware engineers.
