Job summary

Plexus Corp. is seeking an Analog Engineer intern to design and develop electrical hardware across a broad range of industries.

You will collaborate with digital, software, mechanical, quality, manufacturing, and test engineers, participating in the full product development life cycle from idea to manufacturing. The role offers hands-on mentorship, exposure to SPICE simulations, use of EDA tools, and opportunities to contribute to prototyping, testing, and documentation to support product

Qualifications

Student working toward a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology for the entire duration of internship.
Sophomore or Junior level status; GPA 3.0+ preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement and verify the hardware design by using the appropriate EDA tools.
Deliver prototype hardware to customers by implementing physical hardware design components, capturing schematics and supervising PCB layouts.
Analyze circuit designs with simulation tools such as SPICE and finite element tools.
Perform hands-on, in-the-lab, troubleshooting and bring up of prototype hardware.
Take detailed measurements of hardware using oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
Work as a team with other analog, digital, software, and mechanical engineers to review and improve hardware designs.
Develop project documentation per quality and change management procedures and guidelines.
Participate in performance review to ensure employee continuous improvement and growth.
