Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Combat System Technician to repair and analyze AN/SQQ-89(V) SONAR equipment in FCAs. You will be the SME for SONAR combat system equipment and work with legacy and modern SONAR gear.

Perform failures analysis and implement corrective solutions. Requirements include an Associate's degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years in related work; active Secret Clearance is mandatory.

Job Description

Combat System Technician Conducts repair and failure analysis on AN/SQQ-89(V) SONAR equipment in Fleet Concentration Areas (FCAs). Subject Matter Expert with all AN/SQQ-89(V) SONAR combat system equipment. Familiar with all legacy SONAR and modern AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 SONAR equipment. Analyzes failures and faults and provides corrective solutions required in order to implement equipment repair. Conducts testing and restoration activities as required.

Associate's degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of applicable experience. Must have active Secret Clearance

Compensation

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $34.00 - $46.00. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
