Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a pediatric orthopedic surgeon in St. Louis, Missouri, to join a team providing coverage for the pediatric emergency department and inpatient settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric orthopedic surgery, holding mandatory ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

The role includes 24-hour call shifts at least 2 times a month, along with competitive compensation and paid malpractice insurance. Additionally, pre-paid travel and housing expenses will be covered.

Qualifications

• Experience in pediatric orthopedic surgery.
• Mandatory ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Preferred skills in hand surgery and tendon release/repair.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for pediatric emergency department and inpatient patients.
• Rounding required for both inpatient and ED patients.
• Call for 24-hour shifts, with 2 shifts per month.
