Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a pediatric orthopedic surgeon for 24-hour call shifts in a locum tenens capacity. The assignment includes pediatric ED and inpatient coverage with rounding responsibilities for both inpatient and ED patients.

Required are pediatric orthopedic surgery experience and certifications in ATLS, BLS, and PALS. Weatherby provides paid malpractice insurance, travel and housing stipends, and 24/7 consultant access to support physicians nationwide.

Qualifications

• Pediatric orthopedic surgery experience required.
• ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Call shifts: 24-hour coverage, 2 shifts per month.
• Rounding required for inpatient and ED patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric pediatric orthopedic coverage in the ED and inpatient settings.
• Rounding for both inpatient and ED patients.
• Coordinate with the Weatherby Healthcare consultant for logistics.
