Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an experienced interventional cardiology locum for a hospital in Kentucky. The assignment entails inpatient rounds, consults, and lab coverage on a one-week-on, one-week-off schedule, with 24/7 lab coverage and night call for STEMI only.

The role requires PTCA, stents, caths, cardioversions, echo, and EKG; nuclear and TEE experience is a plus. Weatherby provides paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing, and 24-hour consultant access.

Responsibilities

• One week on, one week off with inpatient rounding, consults, and lab coverage.
• 24/7 lab coverage; no clinic.
• Night call for STEMI only.
• Inpatient only with 15+ patients per day.
• Outpatient and inpatient facility.
• Required: PTCA, stents, caths, cardioversions, echo, and EKG.
• Nuclear and TEE experience a plus.
• Leave coverage.
