Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an Interventional Radiology specialist for assignment in Nebraska to cover trauma status and a broad IR practice. The role runs 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with no on-call requirements.

Responsibilities include spine procedures such as pain management injections and vertebral augmentation, along with ports, central line placements, solid organ biopsies, drainages, breast biopsies, and oncology image-guided therapies including kyphoplasty.

Qualifications

• IR physician with broad interventional radiology practice.
• Trauma coverage required to maintain trauma status.
• Experience with spine procedures and kyphoplasty.
• Proficiency in image-guided oncologic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide IR services during 8 am–5 pm, Monday to Friday; no on-call.
• Perform spine procedures including pain management injections and vertebral augmentation.
• Conduct ports, central line placements, solid organ biopsies and drainages.
• Perform breast biopsies and oncology image-guided therapies.
• Coordinate with staff IR and manage time entries in the online portal.
• Maintain trauma coverage to retain trauma status.
