Job summary

Urban Air Fort Union is seeking an Attractions Technician responsible for maintenance and appearance of all attractions and related equipment. The role involves repairing, diagnosing issues, and keeping equipment in peak condition in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, 18+, with a high school diploma or GED or related experience. Some knowledge of amusement equipment and OSHA safety practices is preferred, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or GED required or 1 year related experience or training.
  • Some knowledge of amusement equipment preferred but not required.
  • Basic working knowledge of hand tools required.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • OSHA safety practices knowledge is a plus.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

  • Keep accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventory.
  • Assist with repair of equipment, troubleshooting of issues, and maintenance of Attractions in good working order.
  • Maintain neat and orderly work area and back end.
  • Ensure adequate supply of tools and machinery.
  • Read and interpret diagnostics from manuals.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and assist Supervisor to ensure safety rules are followed.
  • Inform Supervisor of any problems or potential problems found during maintenance.
  • Ability to work various shifts and maintain regular attendance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
