Job summary

Round1 Entertainment Inc. in New York seeks a friendly, outgoing team member to engage customers in a bowling center and arcade environment. You will help ensure eye-catching displays, answer inquiries, and support daily operations during shifts, including weekends.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and 1–2 years in hospitality or retail. The role entails a fast-paced setting with noise, lifting up to 100 lbs with assistance, and a focus on guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to determine needs and upsell where appropriate.

Availability for weekends and closing shifts is preferred.

Essential Duties:

• During assigned shifts engage customers to determine whether their needs are met.
• Maintain inventory levels in amusement games.
• Maintain games and counters clean and visibly attractive to customers’ eyes.
• Respond responsively, and politely with a friendly demeanor to customers’ requests.
• Answers phone calls for all general inquiries.
• Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Non-Essential Duties:

• Conducts alcohol and age restriction control by company policies.
• Conducts lost and found procedures according to company policies.
• Seeks constant improvement or more efficient and less expensive ways and means in department work processes.
• Complies and maintains confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one to two years of experience in a hospitality or retail environment.

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
• The employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods without breaks during busy times. In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistance is required.
