Job summary

Pegasus Aviation Services, an Akima company, seeks an AMT Lead to perform advanced aircraft maintenance and provide technical leadership, training, and coordination for Aircraft Maintenance Technicians.

The role requires FAA A&P licensure and 3–5 years of maintenance experience, with supervisory skills and a focus on safety, quality, and timely aircraft servicing. On-site duties in Alaska may include night shifts and outdoor work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of aircraft maintenance experience preferred.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to Aircraft Maintenance Technicians during maintenance operations.
• Train, mentor, and coach junior AMTs on procedures, troubleshooting, and safety.
• Assign and prioritize daily maintenance tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
• Review technician time records and ensure timely aircraft servicing.
• Ensure maintenance documentation complies with FAA regulations and company procedures.
