AIM is seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to transition into Aircraft Maintenance Instructor roles at our Charlotte campus. You will deliver FAA Part 147-aligned training and mentor students preparing for A&P certification, while maintaining a hands-on hangar environment.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in aircraft maintenance, an FAA A&P certificate, and a passion for teaching. We offer a 5-day paid instructor training program and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in aviation or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• FAA A&P certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Teach aircraft maintenance systems, procedures, and techniques hands-on.

About the Role

Asan AircraftMaintenance Instructor (A&P Mechanic Instructor), you will deliverFAA Part 147-alignedaviation maintenance curriculum and provide hands-on instruction to studentspreparing forcareers asaircraftmaintenance technicians (AMTs).

This role is ideal for experienced A&P mechanics,aircraftmechanics, and aviation maintenance professionals who want to combine technicalexpertisewith mentorship and training while delivering hands-on aviation maintenance instruction in classroom and active hangar environments.

Schedule Options

• Option 1: Monday - Thursday: 6:30am - 4:30pm
• Option 2: Monday - Thursday: 1:30pm - 11:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Teach aircraft maintenance systems, procedures, and techniques in a hands-on environment
• Deliver FAA-aligned curriculum to prepare students for A&P certification
• Demonstrate practical skills used by A&P mechanics and aviation techniciansMaintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress

Qualifications
