HP Inc. is seeking an AMS Technical Group Expert to oversee critical technology areas and customer groups, acting as a trusted advisor in service delivery.

You will design solutions, mentor staff, and foster strategic relationships while guiding complex projects and policy creation. The role emphasizes advanced technical proficiency, industry awareness, and the ability to lead and executive account plans that align with business needs across strategic customers.

Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of work experience in HP products, customer base, account management or on-site support.
• HP Indigo knowledge and S4/S5 & Web Expertise.

AMS Technical Group Expert

Description -

This role is responsible for overseeing critical technology areas and customer groups, providing strategic account support, and maintaining advanced technical proficiency and industry awareness. The role designs support solutions, fosters customer relationships, and acts as a trusted advisor in service delivery. The role contributes to complex projects, establishes policies, and mentors lower-level employees while building productive internal and external relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple critical or high-risk technology areas or customer groups, while integrating technical proficiency and business insight to devise customer-oriented solutions.
• Deliver strategic account support by consistently upholding advanced technical and operational prowess and staying abreast of industry dynamics.
• Evaluate support plans based on business indicators and align them with the organization’s service solutions.
• Cultivate and expand relationships with complex and strategic customer accounts, thereby nurturing growth.
• Act as a trusted advisor and consultant, for both customers and the organization, in service delivery, whether related to business, technology, industry, or specific applications.
• Design and execute support solutions, leading the team’s efforts towards comprehensive solution planning, execution, and management.
• Develop and present Value Based Delivery (VBD) account plans tailored to specific accounts and lead customer expectation management within the escalation process.
• Contribute inputs to operational methods and initiatives that could impact business management strategies within a given geographic area.
• Apply advanced subject matter knowledge, lead, and contribute to complex projects, and exercise independent judgment in resolving business issues and establishing policies.
• Develop and build productive internal/external working relationships and may provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.

Education & Experience Recommended

Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

8-10 years of work experience, preferably in HP products in Customer base, account management, computer customer support, on site customer support, Mission Critical, systems experience, or a related field.

HP Indigo knowledge and S4/S5 & Web Expertise.

Salary

The pay range for this role is $73,800 to $113,650 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
