Job summary

Apple Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a CAD Automation and Mixed-Signal Simulation Engineer to develop, maintain and enhance AMS simulation methodology and tools for analog, RF, and mixed-signal designs.

You will gain hands-on experience in circuit analysis, pre and post-layout simulation, RTL simulation, and signoff. As part of the CAD team, you will collaborate with design teams, work across technology nodes, and drive effective AMS/co-simulation flows to speed up design validation and deliver

Qualifications

3+ years of AMS industry experience with Analog/Mixed-Signal flows.
Experience with mixed-signal co-simulation tools.
Proficiency in Python, Perl, C/C++, or TCL.
Familiarity with industry AMS tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens).

Responsibilities

Contribute to the direction and development of a state-of-the-art mixed-signal simulation methodology across technology nodes and IC types.
Work with world-class design teams to ensure functional behavior and interfaces with digital/RTL blocks.
Investigate challenges, propose solutions, and drive adoption of CAD automations.
Collaborate with third-party EDA tool vendors to ensure tool quality and performance.
Identify and solve design quality risks using simulation and modeling.
Bridge gaps between analog and digital domains and support end-to-end verification workflows.
