A professional development programme of the American Mathematical Society giving early-career mathematicians collaborative research experience within an active research area. Each cohort attends an intensive one-week hands-on summer research conference followed by Special Sessions at the Joint Mathematics Meetings the following January, with mentoring from leaders in the field. Applicants should be within about two years of completing a PhD or within five years of having completed one.
