Job summary

ESC of Eastern Ohio Consortium is seeking two AMS Basketball Boys Coach Grade 8 positions. The roles require experience coaching basketball at the middle school level or higher and a solid understanding of basketball rules and strategies.

Compliance with Ohio Pupil Activity Permit and background checks is mandatory; postings are current as of 9/23/2026. AEA members receive 10% of base salary per negotiated agreement, while non-AEA members receive 10% of the base salary under the Non-degreed

Qualifications

• Experience coaching basketball at middle school level or higher.
• Thorough knowledge of the sport's rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school staff, parents, and students.

AEA supplemental requests via an internal applicationwill be accepted until 2:00 pm on 9/23/26

Salary

AEA Members: 10% of the Base Salary in accordance with the AEA Negotiated Agreement

Non-AEA Members:10% of the base salary on the Non-degreed Certificated Salary Schedule

Qualifications

• Experience as a basketball coach at the middle school level or higher
• Have a thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school staff, parents, and students

• Favorable State and Federal background checks
