Job Overview

Set up and operate manual lathes, drill presses, and small universal mills to make a variety of components and assemblies. Must be able to read and work from prints, perform set-ups, and read micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators. Program and set-up fixturing for CNC equipment (VTL, HBM, horizontal machining center).

Key Job Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes, drill presses, and small universal mills.
• Read and interpret prints and specifications.
• Perform set-ups and measurements using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
• Program and set-up fixturing for CNC equipment, including VTL, HBM, and horizontal machining centers.

Qualifications/Requirements

• 2-3 years of machine shop experience, including technical school training.
• Experience in turning, boring, facing, and thread cutting.
• Ability to set up, program, and operate CNC equipment to produce quality parts per print.
• Willingness to work any shift, overtime, and weekends.
