Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain SAAS ASP certification within 3 months of employment.
• Must obtain Ammo-45,63,64,67 and 68 certifications within 3 months.
• Must obtain Intermodal Dry Cargo Ammo-43 certification within 3 months.
• Must obtain Army Electrical Explosive Safety Ammo-28 within 3 months.
• Must obtain Environmental Considerations Ammo-31 within 3 months.
• Must maintain driving privileges aboard Fort Bragg and have a valid REAL ID driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, storing and issuing ammunition.
• Unloading commercial carriers and loading shipments.
• Verifying material against receiving documents and reporting discrepancies.
• Delivering materials to prescribed storage locations.
• Storing, stacking or palletizing materials according to storage methods.
• Conducting warehousing operations.
• Ensuring storage locations are locked and IDS system is activated at day end.
• Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
• Assisting in inventories and counting items on inventory documents.
• Operating hand or power trucks as needed.
• Delivering rapid deployment ammunition during GRF exercises.
• Duties may change due to contractual requirements.
• Performing other duties as assigned to meet objectives.
