Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations is seeking a Warehouse Specialist, Lead to manage the Storage Section of the Ammunition Supply Point at Fort Hood, TX. The role includes supervising personnel, coordinating inventories, issues, turn-ins, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The position requires experience in ammo storage operations, leadership, and the ability to obtain a forklift license, pass drug tests, and CAC screening.

Qualifications

• MOS 55B/89B or 5 years ammo storage operations experience.
• 2+ years of supervision/leadership experience.
• Must be able to obtain forklift license.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background screening.
• Must be able to obtain CAC.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train assigned personnel in ASP operations.
• Handle loading/unloading, inventories, turn-ins, and receipts.
• Review unit paperwork for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Operate forklift and assist with loading and securing cargo.
• Maintain accountability of issued items and perform safety checks.
• Assist with outbound shipments and storage of ammo.
