Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Naperville, IL is seeking an Industrial Refrigeration Service Technician (Ammonia) to service ammonia and other industrial refrigeration systems across the food & beverage and manufacturing sectors.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair refrigeration, ventilation, heating, and control systems, document work orders, and communicate with customers while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing industrial or commercial refrigeration systems.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience preferred; training available for qualified candidates.
• Working knowledge of commercial HVAC, ventilation, heating systems, and controls.
• Freon refrigeration experience is a plus.
• OSHA 30 or similar safety training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and emergency service on industrial refrigeration systems.
• Service ammonia refrigeration systems (training available).
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration, ventilation, heating, and control systems.
• Complete service documentation, work orders, and customer reports accurately and on time.
• Coordinate daily schedules while maintaining excellent customer communication.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies and regulations.
