To operate and maintain the industrial refrigeration system for a turkey processing plant. The technician position is suitable for individuals with mechanical aptitude and ambition to pursue a career in refrigeration.

1. Installation and repair of industrial refrigeration equipment according to blueprints and engineering specifications.
2. Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM).
3. Provide preventive maintenance to ammonia systems.
4. Knowledge of Frick screw and reciprocating computer systems and ice-making systems.
5. Maintain logs and paperwork.
6. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and promote a safe work environment for self and coworkers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration.
• Ability to work flexible start times and rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, and wet environments.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to stand, squat, and climb regularly.
