Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Refrigeration and Boiler Department Supervisor at our Prepared Foods facility in Kentucky. You will manage and coordinate activities, schedule personnel, and oversee PM programs to keep systems running safely and efficiently. Candidates should have 5–10 years ammonia refrigeration experience; RETA certification a plus; BS/BA preferred; strong leadership and SAP/MS Office familiarity. Base salary range is $90,005–$109,356.30 with benefits and 24/7 coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years ammonia refrigeration experience.
• RETA certification a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to train and supervise subordinates.
• Must work well with management personnel.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules powerhouse and refrigeration personnel to maintain department operations.
• Prepares and supervises preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for systems.
• Reviews utilities reports to ensure efficient operation.
• Addresses issues affecting facility performance.
• Ensures OSHA, PSM compliance in a timely manner.
• Oversees 24-hour coverage scheduling for crews.
• Manages and maintains the refrigeration maintenance budget.
