Job summary

IHG Mechanical is seeking a full-time Ammonia and Freon Refrigeration Technician to join our Columbus, OH team. You will maintain and repair industrial ammonia refrigeration systems, manage installations, troubleshoot issues, and provide precise technical support for clients and the service manager.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of ammonia refrigeration experience, hold a valid driver's license with a clean record, and preferably a RETA certification.

• 2+ years of experience in ammonia refrigeration.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• RETA certification is preferred but not required.

THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, typically Monday–Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM.

In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for maintaining and repairing industrial ammonia refrigeration systems. You'll manage installations, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support with precision and care. You'll collaborate with clients and our service manager to offer solutions, updates, and recommendations-ensuring systems run smoothly and customers stay satisfied.

OUR IDEAL AMMONIA AND FREON REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN

We're looking for someone who can meet the following qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in ammonia refrigeration
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record

Reta certification is preferred but not required.
