Job summary

The Kinetic Group seeks a Quality Inspector at its Anoka location. You will ensure safety, quality and documentation while inspecting ammunition components and products.

Expect shift-based hours, with overtime as needed, and a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting. Qualifications include a high school diploma, ability to learn measurement tools, strong communication, and independent as well as collaborative work skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to learn to use computers and precision measuring devices within 30 days.
• Strong organizational skills and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Safety – Follow all rules and procedures; keep area neat and orderly; report safety hazards to leadership.
• Environmental/hazardous waste – Understand and follow procedures.
• Quality – Meet product quality requirements; notify leadership of excessive defects; understand impact on customers.
• Teamwork – Be an effective team member.
• Continuous Improvement – Contribute ideas via Kaizen card process.
• Work the assigned shift hours plus overtime as needed.
• Disassemble and handle ammunition components and products.
• Fill out paperwork.
• Inspect/audit loaded rounds.
• Follow 5S and clean-up protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
