Job summary

Standish Management UK seeks an experienced Team Lead for AML/Compliance to guide a proactive team, ensure regulatory alignment, and strengthen internal controls across the firm. You will drive governance practices and collaborate with leadership to sustain risk-aware operations.

You will mentor Senior Analysts, oversee reporting, and contribute to policy development while solving operations challenges and improving efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Risk Management, Accounting, Finance).
  • 5-8+ years of proven experience in risk compliance, reporting, and governance, preferably in leadership roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to compliance.
  • Experience mentoring and developing staff, especially Senior Analysts and junior team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

We are a provider of specialized fund administration services for Managers and General Partners of private equity funds, specifically: Buy‐out, Venture Capital, Real Estate and Fund‐of‐ Funds. For new General Partners, we provide consulting services to help accelerate the launch of their funds in addition to our full fund administration services. For established General Partners, we provide administration services and technology to whole fund families or select funds, to help scale their fund operations rapidly and efficiently.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Team Lead for our AML/Compliance department. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of compliance, reporting, and risk management, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams, resolve complex issues, and drive continuous improvement. This role requires a deep understanding of internal controls, regulatory requirements, and a commitment to fostering a culture of good governance and compliance. As a Team Lead, you will support the implementation of compliance policies, monitor operational compliance, and contribute to the development of team members while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring and developing staff, particularly Senior Analysts and junior team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
