Job summary

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of investigative experience with emphasis on BSA/AML and/or fraud prevention, including 3 years of SAR filing and 1 year of QA.
• Strong working knowledge of AML, BSA, and OFAC regulations preferred.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative on AML/sanctions risk activities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Familiarity with AML compliance monitoring systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Reviews alerts and work performed by other analysts in surveillance and monitoring tasks.
• Escalates alerts, cases, and SARs that do not meet BSA standards and follows through to resolution.
• Assists QA Team Lead with administration of QA requirements and procedures.
• Assesses risks and mitigating controls in AML/sanctions procedures.
• Recommends process modifications through reporting of observations and findings.
• Documents QA results and maintains QA reports and correspondence.
• Coordinates with department leadership on QA findings to improve accuracy and timeliness.
• Develops new reviews to support business processes.
• Provides ad hoc technical and administrative support to the department.
• Develops strong working relationships to address issues and concerns.
