Job summary

ACA Group seeks an AML/KYC Consultant to support investor onboarding and ongoing monitoring within private funds settings. You will review documentation, assess ownership structures, and escalate high-risk matters with sound judgement. CAMS certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain it.

You'll work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely onboarding, adherence to procedures, and collaboration across a small team to maintain coverage and consistent delivery across engagements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of AML/KYC investor onboarding, fund compliance, or financial crime operations within private markets.
• Experience reviewing institutional investors, complex structures, private equity, hedge funds subscription documentation.
• Understanding investor due diligence under Luxembourg AML regime; Cayman Islands AML Regulations; US financial crime compliance.
• Ability to apply risk-based judgement with documentation discipline.
• CAMS certification preferred, or willingness to obtain CAMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform AML/KYC reviews for investor onboarding and lifecycle events within private funds environments.
• Support CDD/EDD procedures in line with regulatory expectations.
• Review investor documentation across entities (corporates, partnerships, trusts, FI).
• Analyze ownership structures and suggest valid substitute documentation when needed.
• Document onboarding conclusions with risk considerations and follow-ups.
• Escalate complex files to senior reviewers as required.
• Meet productivity, quality, and SLA expectations across onboarding delivery.
• Collaborate with team to balance file analysis and coverage needs.
