Job summary

Crowe is seeking a Financial Crimes Investigator in the United States to review alerts, conduct investigations, and prepare SARs under supervision. The role emphasizes risk-based decision-making, data analysis, and familiarity with BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC requirements.

You'll work with Crowe teams to deliver compliant financial crime consulting services. Preferred candidates hold CAMS or related certifications and have experience with AML software such as Actimize, Verafin, or similar

Qualifications

• Knowledge of money laundering laws including the BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC requirements and SAR obligations.
• Experience performing AML and financial crime investigations, customer due diligence reviews and sanctions screening.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and investigating alerts, performing investigations, or enhanced due diligence reviews for potentially suspicious activity; make risk-based SAR recommendations.
• Conducting periodic holistic reviews of higher risk individuals or entities under supervision.
• Reviewing and investigating potential matches with sanctions lists.
• Utilize data analysis and regulatory knowledge to assess financial crime risk and designation.
