Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an AMHS Equipment Maintenance Technician to support automated robotics in a cleanroom environment. You will monitor equipment performance, perform repairs, and collaborate with engineers and vendors to ensure optimal tool function.

Key duties include preventative maintenance, analysis of tool data, and timely troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and software issues, with a focus on safety and quality in a fast-paced semiconductor setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 days on/4 days off and 4 days on/3 days off), with overtime as needed
• Maintain compliance with cleanroom protocols with fab PPE
• 2+ years’ experience AC/DC circuits, including fundamentals of electricity and basic electronic components

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechatronic systems, including overhead transport systems and wafer handling equipment
• Fix and repair AC/DC circuits using a DMM and schematic diagrams
• Analyze system operations with diagrams, dismantling, adjusting, rebuilding, and reassembling equipment based on blueprints and manuals
• Apply Microsoft Office tools to manage tasks, document work, and support team communication
• Prioritize tasks and balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Follow established procedures and work independently with high productivity and quality
• Communicate clearly in writing and speech, manage time effectively, follow procedures
