Job summary

Mental Health America of Los Angeles (MHALA) is seeking a part-time Therapist - AMFT to join its Wellness Center team in Los Angeles. You will provide licensed clinical services, assessments, and crisis interventions while coordinating with multi-disciplinary staff to support clients’ goals.

Requirements include LCSW/ASW/LMFT/AMFT/LPCC/psychologist licensure and at least one year post-graduate experience. The role emphasizes documentation in EHR, collaboration, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Licensure as LCSW/ASW/LMFT/AMFT/LPCC/APCC or Psychologist.
• Minimum one year post-graduation clinical experience.
• Spanish bilingual preferred but not required.
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle; TB clearance annually; vaccine policy as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide license-dependent psychotherapy and clinical services.
• Conduct assessments, document medical necessity, and determine diagnoses.
• Coordinate with Wellness Center staff for case management and resources.
• Deliver crisis interventions and assist with hospitalizations when needed.
• Maintain records in EHR and ensure program compliance.
