Job Summary

This individual will be responsible for representing Arch Mortgage Funding (AMF) in the mortgage market territory assigned. They will be prospecting for new customers, maintaining relationships with existing customers, communicating internally and externally, organizing projects, and scheduling events related to customer onboarding and relationship management.

They will execute their duties by seeking out new partnerships, educating the marketplace on AMF non-QM products (DSCR, Bank Statement, Asset Depletion and Full Doc) and services, answering customer questions, redirecting customers to pipeline support resources, following up on service requests and tracking customer activity. This position will also work to support the growth goals assigned and help to identify new products and services AMF can bring to market. This position will also provide ongoing updates to internal stakeholders, update reports, record CRM activity, and handle assignments related to the customer experience as directed by the SVP.

Essential Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Partner with lenders to form knowledge-driven relationships and ensure that AMF products and services meet the lender’s needs.
  • Handle complex customer issues through effective problem solving and negotiation.
  • Improve the volume of business coming to AMF by understanding customer issues related to operational efficiency, training, secondary functions, and risk management.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between Arch US MI Account Reps and Arch Mortgage Funding in the assigned accounts.
  • Coordinate communication between AMF Transaction Manager, key leadership, and lenders to resolve loan level issues.
  • Maintain CRM information on all account activity as directed by SVP.
  • Perform daily customer contact via phone, online tools, remote meetings, and in-person business development.
  • Assist in coordinating external announcements, AMF presentations, and materials for industry trade shows.
  • Maintain strong public and virtual speaking and presentation skills.
  • Stay updated on market trends and new developments in mortgage lending.
  • Understand the whole loan mortgage sales cycle from origination to securitization and train others on these topics.
Job Specifications

Required Knowledge & Skills: Strong mortgage expertise, experience with non-QM secondary relationships, mastery of sales techniques, excellent customer service, ability to handle multiple communication levels, proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with CRM and web-based tools.

Desired Knowledge & Skills: Experience developing and maintaining a non-QM territory, 5+ years preferred, existing contacts and relationships.

Required Education & Experience: Typically a bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years’ experience in secondary mortgage sales or related fields.

Desired Education & Experience: Leadership in non-QM market sales, knowledge of guidelines and procedures, overall market awareness.

Working Conditions/Environment & Physical Demands

Normal office environment, home-based position, travel 40-60%, location preferred: East Coast. Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

Disclaimer

Additional duties may be assigned. Salary range: $121,000 to $181,600 depending on locale and qualifications. Position is incentive eligible.
