Shelter House in Iowa City seeks a Volunteer Coordinator VISTA to manage its volunteer program, recruit and train volunteers, and support fundraising efforts. The role contributes to housing, employment, and mental health recovery initiatives for the community.

The VISTA member will help refine reporting, coordinate onboarding, and participate in major events through the year, with a start date around mid-December 2026 and a year-long service period in the Shelter House program.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age 18 years old.

Responsabilidades

• Support the recruitment, development, and management of the volunteer program.
• Recruit, orient, and train volunteers for roles including intake, shelter support, and employment lab.
• Refine documentation and reporting for the Drop-In Center and assist with fundraising events.
