Job summary

Maine Conservation Corps is seeking a Training Coordinator to manage training programs for AmeriCorps members throughout Maine. This role involves a mix of office and fieldwork, focusing on outdoor recreation, conservation projects, and volunteer management.

Key responsibilities include conducting workshops on a variety of topics, including trail construction, job readiness, and organizational skills. The Training Coordinator will also coordinate logistics for training sessions and support the growth of member programs.

Qualifications

• Three seasons of experience in a leadership role or key staff position with a Conservation Corps or AmeriCorps program.
• Must submit to a criminal history check and be at least 21 years old.
• Commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and coordinate training for AmeriCorps members.
• Teach principles of trail construction and job readiness skills.
• Assist in recruitment initiatives and manage logistics for training.
