Erie Family Health Centers in Chicago is seeking an AmeriCorps member to deliver health education and wellness programming to high school students at the Erie Lakeview School-Based Health Center. The role also provides one-on-one nutrition coaching and helps youths access vision and dental services.

The position is year-long, full-time, with a 1,700-hour requirement. Benefits include a living allowance, Segal Education Award, and healthcare through AmeriCorps, among others.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health education and wellness programming to high school students.

Salary: $30,000.00 per year

This is a year-long, full-time AmeriCorps position requiring completion of a minimum of 1,700 service hours. The work schedule for this position is aligned with Erie’s hours of operations.
