Job summary

Chromalox, Inc. seeks an Americas Environment & Sustainability Specialist to lead environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives across manufacturing and production sites.

You will embed sustainable practices, reduce water use, waste, emissions, and biodiversity impacts while aligning with the refreshed Sustainability Strategy. The role requires collaboration with global/regional teams, execution of improvement plans, and support for environmental campaigns and training.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental science, management, sustainability, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in environmental management and/or sustainability roles.
• Experience with environmental permits, regulatory reporting, and compliance.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and sustainability best practices.
• Strong analytical, data interpretation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, permits, licenses, and best practice.
• Build and maintain Environmental Management Plans aligned with legal and Group requirements.
• Integrate environmental considerations into risk assessments and procedures.
• Submit timely environmental and sustainability data.
• Lead or support environmental incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulators and certification bodies; support ISO 14001 audits and improvement.
• Contribute to Group Sustainability Strategy implementation.
