Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking an experienced Operations Manager Americas in Schaumburg, IL. You will lead the US and India-based operations teams and stay hands-on with trade execution, owning end-to-end deals while developing a broader operations function across the Americas.

The role requires deep knowledge of international trade operations, LC handling, and logistics coordination, with a emphasis on process improvements and people development in a global trading environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of international trade operations, products and customer service.
• Hands-on experience managing physical trade transactions end-to-end.
• Experience with Letters of Credit (LCs), banking and trade finance processes.
• Exposure to customs, import/export documentation and international logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead US and India-US Operations teams across all aspects of trade execution.
• Personally manage the Niche desk and step into deal-execution as needed.
• Own trade files end-to-end: contracts, LC, customs documentation and logistics.
• Escalate urgent or complex transactions and coordinate with banks, customs brokers, and vendors.
• Improve operational procedures through streamlining and automation.
• Develop a customer-focused Operations function with strong cross-functional relationships.
