About this role

The Americas Head of Campus Recruiting is a senior Talent Acquisition leader responsible for designing and implementing a top-tier campus recruiting strategy across the United States, Canada, and Mexico with an ambitious goal to become the early careers employer of choice. This role focuses on attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent from universities and colleges for entry-level and early-career positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Visionary: Design and execute a campus recruiting strategy that positions the organization as the top employer of choice for campus talent, including in-person and virtual engagement strategies to reach a broad candidate pool.
  • Relationship Builder: Develop and maintain strong relationships internally with key stakeholders and externally with universities, academic institutions, and partner organizations to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on campus recruiting trends, practices, and technologies to ensure competitiveness in the market.
  • Brand Advocate: Promote BlackRock's principles through impactful events, marketing, and outreach efforts to attract potential candidates.
  • Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of campus recruiters, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze recruitment data to identify trends, measure success, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruiting activities adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Global Collaboration: Work with EMEA and APAC leaders to develop cohesive global strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve recruitment goals.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience: Over 12 years in campus recruiting or talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing dispersed teams.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of campus recruiting trends, practices, and technologies.
  • Travel: Willing to travel frequently for recruitment events and campus visits.

For New York, NY, the salary range is USD $175,000 - $270,000. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits such as healthcare, leave, and retirement plans.
