S&P Global Energy is seeking a Director of Communications, Americas, to lead the development and execution of regional communications. The role focuses on visibility, relationship-building with media, and senior stakeholder support across the Americas.

You will drive messaging, collaborate with executives, and oversee external content while ensuring alignment with corporate goals and crisis readiness. This role demands strategic thinking and senior-level communication expertise.

Qualifications

• Strategic communications leader with industry credibility and regional media relationships.
• Experience developing and executing PR strategies across the Americas region.
• Drafting and managing communications for internal and external audiences.
• Proven ability to build relationships with media outlets and influencers.
• Strong project management to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• 10+ years of external communications/media relations experience in relevant sectors.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• High AI literacy to plan, prepare and measure communications.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the communications strategy for S&P Global Energy within the Americas region aligned with objectives.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to craft narratives and communicate initiatives.
• Draft and distribute external content including press releases and media advisories.
• Ensure alignment with corporate values, vision, and guidelines in all materials.
• Build relationships with media, analysts, journalists across the region.
• Coordinate media interviews, press briefings, and events to promote goals.
• Monitor and report on communications results aligned with strategic goals.
• Manage media relations during crises and mitigate reputational risk.
• Create internal content and manage internal events as required.
