Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York is seeking an Associate in Americas Sales and Marketing to support the institutional commodities desk, focusing on investors products/index offerings and day-to-day trading activities.

You will build relationships with hedge funds and asset managers, grow your own book, and serve as the primary contact for assigned clients while contributing to strategic planning and market coverage.

Qualifications

Existing commodities experience and established contacts within the commodities client community.
Impeccable integrity, strong work ethic and genuine interest in commodity markets.
Strong knowledge of derivatives and the commodities environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management and attention to detail.
Interest in commodities and macro markets.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Assist in day-to-day desk activities, including coverage, execution and content distribution.
Support broad commodity responsibilities and promote the bank’s index/QIS offering.
Provide commodities coverage to institutional accounts and strengthen client presence.
Help build a strong market presence against competitors.
Support other firm marketing efforts for commodities.
Be the first call for client commodities needs.
