LSA Video is actively seeking experienced ASL Interpreters to work remotely with our state-of-art VRI call center located in Horsham, PA. Candidates must possess American Sign Language (ASL) and/or English transliteration as well as spoken English skills. PT positions available.

LSA Video is actively seeking experienced ASL Interpreters to work remotely with our state-of-art VRI call center located in Horsham, PA. Candidates must possess American Sign Language (ASL) and/or English transliteration as well as spoken English skills. PT positions available.

Job Responsibilities

• Interpret between American Sign Language (ASL), and/or English transliteration and spoken English, through web-based VRI system
• Answering inbound VRI sessions in a timely manner
• Assist clients with basic troubleshooting (refer to manager or IT department if necessary)
• Provide superior customer service
• All other duties as assigned by Manager (may include, but not limited to, video and web based ASL recorded translations)
  
  

Qualifications/Experience

• Maintain, as applicable, compliance with any national, state, or local licensure and/or certification requirements
• Adhere to the RID Code of Professional Conduct
• Attention to detail
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Professional and positive phone manner with clients from all types of businesses
• Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the 24/7/365 demands of VRI
• Familiarity working in a windows environment (MS Office suite, remote connections—gotomypc, etc.)
• RID certification and proof of current Pennsylvania registration
• Experience with VRS or VRI systems (preferred)
• PC Trouble shooting skills preferred
• Minimum of at least a high school diploma
• Willingness to learn and take on more responsibilities as needed
• Attention to detail, while working in a fast paced environment
• At least 5 years of interpreting experience
