Job summary

Northland Learning Center is seeking an American Sign Language – Language Facilitator in Virginia, MN. The role includes interpreting for students with varying degrees of ASL knowledge, facilitating communication in the classroom, and providing support for IEP development. Qualifications

• Fluency in American Sign Language required.

• Support general education staff and students in follow through of techniques for working with a deaf/hard of hearing student after in-services by Teacher of DHH
• Provide input as needed in the development of the IEP
• Act as a tutor when appropriate and as outlined in the IEP
• Prepare reports, in accordance with established procedures and forms, regarding students' progress
