Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter for a school-based role in Charleston, SC for the 2026-2027 year. You will provide one-on-one ASL interpretation throughout the day, ensuring the student can access curriculum and participate with peers and staff.

This position welcomes both experienced school interpreters and those new to the school setting, with up to $48/hour compensation and a benefits package.

About the Role

Hello, Sign Language Interpreters! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Sign Language Interpreters for a school-based position in Charleston, SC for the 2026-2027 School Year. You’ll support students by providing interpreting services in American Sign Language (ASL) throughout the school day. This role is ideal for either experienced school ASL interpreters or those new to the school setting.
