Athletes Global Corporation in Annandale, VA seeks a reliable American Sign Language Instructor to lead a fun after-school enrichment program for elementary and middle school students, teaching basic ASL signs, vocabulary, and simple conversations in an interactive learning environment.

The part-time role runs on Tuesdays, 6:00–6:55 p.m. for 7–9 year olds and 7:15–8:10 p.m. for 10–12 year olds, from 9/15/2026 to 11/10/2026, in person at 8100 Braddock Road.

Qualifications

• ASL: 4 years or more experience required.
• Teaching: 1 year experience required.
• Must be 18 or older (License/Certification).
• Able to commute to Annandale, VA 22003.

We are seeking a reliableAmerican Sign Language (ASL) Instructorto support an after-school enrichment program.

Position Overview

The ASL Instructor will lead a fun, engaging introduction to American Sign Language for elementary and middle school students. The instructor should be comfortable working with children and able to guide students through basic ASL signs, vocabulary, and simple conversations in an interactive learning environment.

• Lead an ASL enrichment class for students
• Teach basic American Sign Language signs, vocabulary, and communication skills
• Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment
• Manage classroom behavior in a positive and professional manner
• Follow any provided lesson plans or activities from the primary instructor/program coordinator
• Arrive on time and prepared to lead the class

Qualifications

• Experience with American Sign Language (fluency or strong working knowledge preferred)
• Experience working with children in an educational, camp, or enrichment setting
• Reliable and able to step in when needed
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for teaching and engaging with students
