Athletes Global Corporation is seeking an American Sign Language Instructor to lead an ASL enrichment class for elementary students and adults in Kansas City, MO. The role requires preparing engaging activities and guiding basic signs, vocabulary, and conversations in a lively learning setting.

The position is part-time, in-person at Pembroke Hill School campus, with a schedule Monday 3:10 PM–4:10 PM, from 9/14/2026 to 11/26/2026.

Qualifications

• Experience with American Sign Language (fluency or strong working knowledge preferred).
• Experience working with children in an educational, camp, or enrichment setting.
• Reliable and able to step in when needed.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for teaching and engaging with students.
• Ideal for educators, ASL interpreters, students studying ASL, or instructors with teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead an ASL enrichment class for elementary students and 18+ adults.
• Teach basic American Sign Language signs, vocabulary, and communication skills.
• Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behavior in a positive and professional manner.

Job Overview

TheASL Instructorwill lead a fun, engaging introduction to American Sign Language for elementary school students and Adults. The instructor should be comfortable working with children and able to guide students through basic ASL signs, vocabulary, and simple conversations in an interactive learning environment.
