Requirements include ASL interpreter credentials, a valid driver’s license, IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, and completion of an Interpreter Training Program. Prior school-based interpretation experience is preferred.

A nationwide provider of comprehensive school-based therapy services is seeking multiple Part-Time American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters for in-person school-based positions in Surprise, AZ.Your contributions will directlyimpactthe lives of diverse children and their families, ensuring they receive the assistance they need.

Location: Surprise, AZ
Job Type: Part-Time
Work Setting: In-Person (School-Based)
Compensation: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour

Qualifications

Required:

• American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter credentials (must obtain andmaintain)
• Valid driver's license (front and back)
• Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (front and back)
• Social Security Card
• CPR certification from an accredited agency (must be in-person certification; online training is not acceptable)
• First Aid certification from an accredited agency (must be in-person certification; online training is notacceptable)
• High School diploma or G.E.
• Completion of an Interpreter Training Program
• Minimum one (1) year of providing instructional interpretation in a school environment

Compensation & Benefits

• $24.00 - $29.00 per hour (commensuratewith experience)
