The Opportunity: The Seasonal Part-Time Host is based at the AG Retail Flagship in New York and reports directly to the Café Manager. This role involves greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and collaborating with the restaurant team. If you excel in a fast-paced environment and handle challenging service situations professionally, we want to hear from you.

What Your Impact Will Be:

• Greet guests promptly and seat them efficiently by managing waitlists and maximizing seating capacity.
• Handle large crowds professionally and resolve service challenges diplomatically.
• Create a welcoming ambiance through lighting, music, and table arrangement.
• Communicate setup details, special requests, and birthday information to the team.
• Share information about store and restaurant events with guests.
• Use systems like Zomato reservation, InfoGenesis register, and Microsoft Office to perform duties.
• Identify training opportunities for staff development.
• Support restaurant staff to ensure an outstanding dining experience.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a restaurant host, hotel concierge, or similar customer service role preferred.
• Computer skills including reservation and POS systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic office equipment preferred.
• Experience working with children is a plus.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

The hourly rate is $18.50, commensurate with experience and skills.
