The Team

The American Girl Retail team provides memorable experiences through our experiential stores, offering services like Girl and Doll Salons, full-service restaurants, personal shopping, ear piercing, and hosting parties. This role is dynamic and impactful, influencing both team and customer experiences.

The Opportunity

The Salon Stylist at our Chicago flagship reports to the Assistant Salon Manager. Responsibilities include providing salon services for girls and dolls, and adapting to business needs.

Your Impact

• Deliver high-quality girl and doll salon services.
• Perform various styling techniques suitable for different hair types and styles.
• Assist guests, manage salon supplies, maintain cleanliness, and communicate needs to management.
• Complete ear piercing training and certification, following all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid Cosmetology license for hair and nails.
• Experience with diverse hair styles and nail services.
• Energetic, with a passion for service quality in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to perform ear piercing services.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience working with children is preferred.

Compensation

The hourly rate ranges from $18 to $21.15.
