Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Lead and develop account management plans for platinum accounts, acting as a liaison between customer HQ, regional accounts, and Lonza corporate/divisions.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Offer a complete and coordinated perspective of Lonza to customers. Develop and maintain connections with key collaborators throughout various departments, such as R&D, operations, and senior management, going beyond procurement. Emphasize encouraging customer happiness, dedication, and strategic alignment while conducting detailed account collaborator mapping for thorough engagement.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor critical metrics to assess account management success and customer happiness.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with Local Field Sales Representatives and cross-functional teams (marketing, product development, supply chain) to align on customer needs and offerings.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations for contract renewals and modifications, ensuring terms are favorable for both Lonza and the customer. Manage the contract and ensure successful execution at all levels.
  • Regularly analyze the market and competition to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. Understand each customer's business dynamics and market environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Pharmaceutical product lifecycles, Lonza products, customer industry segment dynamics, and consumer trends.
Qualifications

  • Modify sales strategies according to market conditions and internal factors, showcasing solid business insight.
  • Navigate sophisticated decision-making processes with a deep understanding of corporate buying partners and buying processes.
