The role creates, mentors, and manages high-performing teams that stay engaged and thriving. It is expected that the Regional Account Director will serve as a player-coach and directly manage select transactions.

The Regional Account Director is accountable for developing and implementing a strategic account plan which delivers continuous improvement and ensures a healthy long-term relationship. The Regional Account Director anticipates client needs, delivers to outperform key performance indicators, inspires talent, and builds growth plans.

With a deep understanding of JLL’s strategic initiatives and market opportunities, the Regional Account Director translates emerging thought leadership, research, products, and services into viable client and business opportunities and should have strong presentation skills and executive presence to support those activities.

The ideal candidate for this role is a proven leader with extensive transaction management expertise, effective client relationship skills, and account management experience.

Primary responsibilities include:

Client Satisfaction

  1. Delivers high client satisfaction.
  2. Aligns with client on key priorities and adjusts as business conditions or opportunities change.
  3. Ensures high-quality service delivery that exceeds client expectations.
  4. Anticipates needs; responds to client issues in an expedient and professional manner.
  5. Builds lasting relationships quickly and communicates effectively at an executive level.

Leadership and Talent Management

  1. Hires, attracts, and retains a team of top talent employees; improves team performance through regular coaching and feedback; provides recognition.
  2. Creates, mentors, and manages high-performing teams that remain engaged and thriving.
  3. Understands client’s key business drivers; focuses the team to ensure work is aligned with client’s highest priorities.
  4. Embodies the firm’s values and core behaviors of collaboration, integrity, and excellence.
  5. Advances the firm’s culture and employee experience priorities by focusing on hiring, rotation, and promotion.
  6. Identifies and develops successors for all key leadership roles.

Achieving Financial Results and Contributing to Company/Industry Growth

  1. Retains all current business. Identifies client value-add opportunities to expand business beyond existing service lines.
  2. Proactively identifies areas to incorporate innovation into account operations.
  3. Becomes an internal reference for best-in-class service delivery.
  4. Develops budget, manages to ensure plan is met or exceeded.

Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years transaction management experience.
  2. Leadership experience in account management.
  3. Licensed broker or salesperson.
  4. Portfolio management experience or certification.
  5. Experience overseeing lease administration services.
  6. Proven track record leading global teams, with strong account management and communication skills.
  7. Willingness to travel (less than 25%).

Estimated total compensation for this position:

220,000.00 – 250,000.00 USD per year
