AMD Engagement Operations (EO) Development Team Product Owner (PO)

We are looking for an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Engagement Operations (EO) Development Team Product Owner (PO) to join our team in supporting the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office.

Your Day-to-day Work Will Include:

• Prioritizing and validating the development software for the Engagement Operations team.
• Reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms, and providing guidance to the development team.
• Working with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects of the team for each planning interval and sprint.
• Providing technical briefings and advisement to leadership on the status, risks, and impacts related to the IFMC mission.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• US citizenship and residency near Huntsville, AL, or willingness to relocate.
• Active SECRET security clearance and ability to maintain it.
• Basic understanding of Engagement Operations (EO) concepts, including engagement planning, threat evaluation, target selection, battlespace prediction, and sensor resource management.
• Ability to oversee EO software development team and verify work based on acceptance criteria, including attending code reviews.
• Experience working directly with Agile software developers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in engineering, sciences, or mathematics from an accredited college (ABET preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years of combined Government/DoD experience related to the duties listed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS, and familiarity with EO implementations in DoD services.
• Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team.
• Willingness to contribute expertise to proposal efforts, including re-competes.

Estimated Salary Range: $110,000 - $188,000

The salary range is broad; actual offers depend on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
