Job summary

Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support ambulatory services with basic patient care tasks under licensed supervision. The role involves helping the Urology team in a fast-paced clinic and performing essential screening tasks.

Responsibilities include vitals, specimen collection, and basic clerical duties, with a focus on compassionate patient care. This is a full-time, day-shift position in a clinic open weekdays; ND licensing and BLS are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of six months’ clinic experience preferred.
• CNA preferred; BLS required or within 60 days of employment.
• If ND resident and not CNA, must register as Nursing Assistant in ND within four months.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care tasks under supervision (vital signs, measurements).
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain equipment.
• Monitor inventory and restock supplies; assist with patient registries.
